Fall Corduroy Skirt
I love the idea of four-day weeks in the beginning of the week, when I am looking forward to having a day off. But, once that day “off” is over, the rest of the week is just a blur of catching up and getting everything done! Anyone else feel the same way? I took yesterday to recharge, unpack from Nantucket, and get most of my to-do list done! Though I am feeling accomplished, I am so ready for Friday!
I am also really excited to wear this corduroy skirt once again this weekend – it’s supposed to be in the mid-80’s! I wore this outfit on Saturday before we left for Nantucket to run a few last-minute errands around town. The weather was cooler, low 70’s, so a sweater was much needed (I constantly need to be warm!). This skirt had just came in the day before, so I was thrilled to be able to wear it, even though it still technically is summer. The color and fit are perfect for a fall day, the skirt can easily be paired with a sweater (love this one) or with a blouse for a dressier look. I know I will most definitely be wearing this look in a few weeks to go apple picking!
Neutral accessories are also a big favorite of mine for fall – okay any season! They just go with so much! The booties I am wearing here are form last season, but I’ve linked a duplicate pair that is almost identical! I got so much use out of these booties last year, and I know they will be on repeat once again this year!
